Sat. Dec. 18th, 2010

We're back to a functional state at the box, which in reality....is all we really need. Hopefully, this won't happen again any time soon. But, if it does we'll just deal with it and move on. I am on shift today, and Beth will be running the 9am class. Next week classes will be limited based on trainer availability. I will post as needed. There will be no morning classes on Monday, Dec. 20th. - (4pm-7pm only).

Thank you for your patience. The box has for the most part...dried out. I appreciate the help on Mon. and Tues with stacking the mats.....pulling up the wood platforms and Darvin and Mason for doing some pressure washing. Tomorrow I will be down at the box most of the day starting in the morning with the continued cleaning. If anyone wants to stop by, they're more than welcome. At this point, we will return to a normal class schedule on Fri., Dec. 17th, 9am-10am, 4pm-7pm. There will be no 0630 am. If you have any questions please let myself or Beth know. Again, thank you for your patience.

Sun. Dec. 12th, 2010

Well, it's been quite the weekend. The rainstorm that hit us today caused quite a bit of damage to Port Orchard. There was significant flooding on Bay st. along with mud slides that took out a couple of houses. Unfortunately, the floor at the box was under about 6" of water wall to wall at about 10am. I am on shift today at the Fire Dept. and we've been busy to say the least. I want to say thank you to Carol, Marianne and Robert for their help with moving the equipment and stacking sandbags.

As of Monday, Dec. 13th, we will be closed for a few days until I can dry out the place and assess the damage. I will keep you posted.
